Ft. Worth

We took a little side trip to Ft. Worth to visit Kimbell Art Museum. Jim said Dallas had plenty of great restaurants and shopping, but Ft. Worth was where you have to go to do the really cool stuff.

Hmmm...Dallas sounds a lot like Topeka!

This enormous sculpture is the first thing you see when you arrive. There are gaps in the metal slabs down at the bottom and you can walk right inside. The acoustics are amazing!

This was a beautiful little courtyard "out back." We sat. We talked. We people watched.

And "Earth Goddess." We understood each other. I think John liked her, too!

This tree sculpture is at the Modern Art Museum. I think it's called The Modern. We didn't have time for The Modern, but it's on the list for next time.

Great shot of The Trees... next time we'll walk to them.
And, hang out in the stock yards including having a drink while sitting on the saddle stools in the old hotel saloon.
