John and I took a quick road trip to Minnesota this weekend to help our good friends Tom and Karen move into a new home. I posted the other day about Tom's pneumonia. He's doing better but is still recovering from surgery and is too weak to help.
They were a bit overwhelmed with the outpouring of support they've received over the past few weeks from friends, family, and their church.
Karen and I talked about that and how they'll have an opportunity someday to pay it forward. And when they do they'll remember this time in their lives and the people that stepped up when they needed it.
I know I did.
