Budget Cuts

Our district is starting to feel the economic pinch. $150,000 needs to be trimmed from this year's budget.

Next year will be a different story.

I'm hearing numbers thrown around like $400,000 and $800,000.

Significant amounts for a district our size but we won't know until the legislature does their thing.

One thing is certain...we can't save that much money by making fewer copies and trimming our supply budgets.

It's happening to other districts, too.

Let's hope the economic stimulus package works!
